Highlights

    • manaslu 2

With time Manaslu Circuit Trek is getting more famous. It is used as the complement of Round Annapurna Trek due to the availability of road to Annapurna Circuit Trek. Manaslu Circuit Trek covers the subtropical Himalayan foothill to arid Trans-Himalayan High Mountain with six different types of landscape. The main highlight of this trek is the attractive scenery of Mt.Manaslu (8163m ), Himalchuli with the Annapurna massif, beautiful villages of Samagau and Samdo, 110 species of birds, 33 different mammals, 11 type of butterflies and 3 species of reptiles, and 19 different types of forest. During this trek, we will get close to two different types of ethnic groups of people. The trek begins from Arughat which is at an altitude of 600 meters and goes up to Larke pass at 5016 meters.

During trekking, we can enjoy the inhabitants of local food and hospitality.
Tsum valley, the hidden valley is an unexplored place. It is completely isolated from modern development. This place was opened for tourism only in 2007 by the Government of Nepal. This place is so untouched that much religious and archaeological evidence is still the same as it was a thousand years ago. People still practice the polyandry systems (all the brothers from the family get married the same girl) and they follow unique cultures and traditions. They have their own dialect as well. Tsum valley people’s main festivals are Lhosar and Sake Dawa Dhacyhang. Tsum valley separates Nepal from Tibet. This valley is surrounded by Buddha Himal, Himalchuli, Ganesh Himal, Sringi Himal.
Accommodation During Trekking
During the trek, we will be staying at local teahouses. These offer accommodation and food served in a dining room which also functions as a social meeting place with other trekkers. All accommodation is on a twin shared basis. A single room is usually available at a little extra cost. The tour guide will arrange the best available accommodation in each village. As we advance to higher and more remote villages it may occasionally be necessary to share a room with more than 2 people. During the treks, most of the bathroom and toilet facilities are shared and the toilet can be either a squat or a western toilet.

Meals During Trekking
In Kathmandu, we can enjoy authentic Nepalese food such as Thali and Momo at a traditional Nepalese restaurant. For instance, a Newari restaurant is a special place serving Newari food (the Newari are the indigenous people of the Kathmandu valley). Newari food is famous and unique. During the trek, we will eat traditional Nepalese food as well as more international cuisine (Tibetan, Indian, Italian, and continental). Dinner and breakfast will be taken at the teahouse where we spend the night and lunch at one of the trail teahouses.
