The Autumn season (September to November) and spring season (March to May) are the best seasons to trek Poon Hill and the favourite season of most trekkers. The temperature in those seasons is neither too hot nor too cold. Since the sky gets clear in those seasons you can enjoy a clear view of the mountains. In the autumn season, the villages look colourful and decorated because of the festivals as Dashain and Tihar lie during this period, and in the spring season, tourists can enjoy a spectacular view of full blossomed red and pink rhododendron which makes the forest colourful and more alluring.
