Overview

Manaslu (8156 m) and Annapurna I (8092 m) are the 8th and 10th world's highest mountains. Manaslu and Annapurna Circuit Trek is a classic trek which circles around this two mountain ranges. This trek passes the two highest passes Larke Pass(5130m) and Thorang la(5416 m). It takes us deep inside nature where a feeling of isolation from modernism and materialistic things comes along. Life here is very simple, beautiful, and free like a bird. Your heart can fly away to the top of a mountain or fly down to the button and swim on the river like a fish. As cold air from the mountain touches us, we can feel the freedom of being in the wild.

We start our trekking from the small mountain towns, Arughat in a subtropical climate zone, and trek slowly up to the alpine climate zone. During the trek, we can observe the lifestyle of people and get a closer insight into their daily life. We can see people cutting grass, carrying wood, and washing cloth, and dishes in the stream. We encounter some of the domestic animals as well. Beautiful mountain ranges are always present in the background which keeps refreshing us with their prevailing beauty.
The major settlement we find on this trek is Arught, Samagau, Samdo, Chame, Manang, and Jomsom. Different ethnic people live in these settlement areas.
